🕘 Time: 09:00 – 13:00
(until 13:30 if children have lunch at the club)
🗓️ Daily Schedule:
- Arrival & preparation
- Introduction to the club, coaches, and sailboats
- Theory: knots, boat parts, wind, sailing directions
- Snack break
- Rigging and launching the boat
- Sailing through games and exercises
- Swimming 🏖️
- Return to shore & cleanup
- Changing & lunch
- Pick-up by parents
📚 What kids will learn:
- Sailing basics (close-hauled, downwind, beam reach)
- Knots (bowline, clove hitch, etc.)
- Boat parts & handling
- Navigating between buoys
- Water safety & docking
- Sailing independently with guidance
🏁 Friday – Final Day:
- Review of all lessons
- Mini regatta
- Certificate ceremony 🏅
- Photos & talk with parents
- Invitation to the advanced course
📌 Note: Children must bring sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle, and a change of clothes.
💶 Price:
The course fee is €200 for children residing in Istria County, and €350 for participants from outside the county.
Lunch at the club is optional and available for an additional fee of €10.
